As many of you know Luke and I were on vacation last week, and are happy to report that we’re now back, rested, and ready to bring you some new true crime stories. We also want to thank everyone who sent kind messages of support and well wishes on our week off, if we didn’t get a chance to respond just know that we saw them and were extremely grateful.

On that note, to answer the top two questions we got last week — no, we weren’t on vacation together, and in terms of where we were, I won’t speak for Luke, but I myself managed to get out and spend a week in Ontario’s cottage country. If you’re from Canada you already know that trips to the cottage are sort of the quintessential summer experience for many of us, and this week certainly did not disappoint.

And since cottage country was already at the forefront of our minds, we decided to make that the theme of this week’s series, and will be bringing you two chilling stories that took place in Ontario’s famous Muskoka region.
