Weirdest Crimes Of 2023

I don’t know about you, but it seems like every year time just moves a little bit faster. It’s like a cruel joke — you finally get used to writing the correct year on things and then suddenly another one has passed and you’re messing it up again. I am personally the worst for this.

Anyway, since 2023 is almost officially behind us, we decided what better way to honour this strange and bittersweet feeling than by looking back at some of the equally bizarre stories we covered this year. Today we’re going to be focusing on stories from our Crimes of the Week series, but if you like this video be sure to look out for another compilation covering ones from the International edition of our show as well. Just a heads up because this is a compilation style video keep in mind that these segments have not been edited since they first appeared on their respective lists, so references to specific days of the week as well as other small details may no longer apply.

Also, we just wanted to give a quick thanks to every single one of you out there tuning in. You’ve all helped to make 2023 another unforgettable year, and we’re eternally grateful for all the support you’ve sent our way in all its forms. Have a safe and happy new year, and here’s to an even better 2024!
